Great Hearts Summer Institute Courses
The Great Hearts Academics and PD teams are delighted to offer the following course options for teachers and campus coaches this summer.
| Course Title | Description |
|---|---|
| Singapore Math (K-5) | This course is geared toward current and new campus coaches and/or anyone with campus math responsibilities. Content varies by region. See the agendas for detailed information. |
| Well-Ordered Language (2nd-8th) | This course is designed to provide participants with an adult understanding of grammar and formal diagramming through the scope and sequence of Well-Ordered Language. All faculty interested in deepening their understanding of grammar and the WOL program are encouraged to attend! |
| Carnegie Math (6th-8th) | This course is designed for coaches on campuses using Carnegie Math. The focus will be on explaining the nuances of the Carnegie materials and the best strategies to use in coaching teachers in them. |
| Humane Letters (9th-12th) | This course will focus on strategies for planning and running seminar. The target audience is new teachers or teachers who would benefit from a refresher in the basics of seminar. Course is capped at 25 participants. |
