The Great Hearts Talent Team values the countless ways our teachers contribute to shaping the culture of our schools and pour into the essential work of cultivating the hearts and minds of our students. Because we strive to prioritize the support of our teachers and recognize that our teachers have changing needs, personally and professionally, we want to provide easy access to opportunities across our growing network of schools.
Opportunities Across the Network
If you are interested in teaching opportunities at a different Great Hearts school other than the one at which you currently work, you need to do these things as soon as possible:
- Inform your current Head of School of your interest in teaching/leading at another academy. Note: this step is required before interviewing with another GH Headmaster.
- Complete an online application for the position (logging in as a “previous applicant”)
- Access our Internal Job Board to see current openings across the network
- Send a note of interest to us at email@example.com (as we assist Headmasters with their key searches/openings).

As our network grows, our need for strong, philosophically aligned leadership grows. This growth will bring a significant number of Assistant Headmaster, Dean, Grade-level Lead, Subject-area Master Teacher, and even network Lead Office opportunities, for which we’re eager to receive interest and applications from our own faculty and staff .
In addition to opening new academies, a number of our other academies are experiencing significant expansion. Each of these schools purposefully seek to seed/scaffold their growth with GH-experienced teachers. These “teaching leadership” roles are essential to the cultural continuity of our academies, and represent wonderful growth and development opportunities for our faculty.
